What is IPTV?
Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) delivers television content using signals based on the logical Internet Protocol (IP), instead of being delivered through traditional terrestrial, satellite signal, or cable television formats.
What is EPG?
EPG is an electronic program guide, an on-screen guide of scheduled broadcast programming television programs.
What is XMLTV?
XMLTV is an XML based file format for describing TV listings. IPTV providers use XMLTV as the base reference template in their systems and extend it internally according to their business needs.
What is PVR?
"Personal Video Recorder" is a different term for a DVR (Digital Video Recorder).
What is a .m3u file?
It's the file that your PVR client is using to get your IPTV streams, channel names and another bunch of data.
So, is this just another website where I can look up a TV Guide?
EPG is a Program Guide displayed directly on your TV in a transparent layer on top of the TV picture.
Why should I use your service?
You get a reliable source of EPG data for a small price without any hassle.
Your Program Guide will never be empty.
Why is your service better, than others?
First of all, there are no other services like this.
We were the first, who provided such a user friendly solution for receiving EPG, and a few websites try to copy us ever since, but they fail, because their lack of dedication and the willingness to invest into their infrastructure.
None the less, our service is the most sophisticated and most up-to-date EPG Service on the Internet. We also have EPG for the most channels all around the world (currently ~7000) and we also add new channels continuously. You can even ask for channels and we will add them as fast as we can.
But there are Addons for my Media Center, which do the same, no?
There are addons, sure, but they are either simply bad, or they offer EPG just for a few countries and only for a few TV channels.
Beside that, you have to mess around with repositories and installations if you want to get EPG through an Add On and you will still have a complicated system without a satisfying result.
But my IPTV provider gives me EPG already, no?
Some of them do, most of them don't.
Even if they do, they don't have EPG for all of their channels, but probably just for the most important countries/channels and that is also in one huge file, unsorted and surely not customized to your needs.
How do I use your content?
You get a link to a personalized XML file containing the Program Guide to your chosen TV channels which you can call in a Media Center with a PVR client, such as KODI and PVR Simple Client.

Can you provide the file with .gz extension?
Yes! Please go to your profile page and check the GZIP option. You will get a link with .gz extension instead of .xml.
With what devices / softwares can I use your service?
This list is by far not complete, so we are depending on your feedback too!

Can I use your service on my Samsung Smart TV?
Yes! We have a free IPTV app for Samsung Smart TV devices.
Please download the Samsung.rar or the Samsung.zip file, unpack it and copy the "userwidget" directory to a USB stick.
Put the USB stick into an USB port on your TV and the app will install itself automatically.

I used your M3U link in the Smart IPTV app/portal and I received EPG, but I don't get all the channels/I get bad data. Why?
If you put your M3U link into the Smart IPTV app, you will get EPG for many channels from their integrated Rytec source, because many of our tvg-ids are inevitably the same as theirs, but that EPG is not coming from us, therefore we are not responsible for it and we are not able to give support for it.
Can I use your service with an Enigma2 box?
Yes! Switch on the Enigma2 option in your profile and follow the instructions in this video: Enigma2 Tutorial.
What do I have to do if I want to use your service with KODI?
Please deactivate local caching in "PVR & Live TV" settings AND in "Simple Client" settings!
What do I have to do if I want to use your service with Perfect Player?
Add only the M3U link to your player. No XML link needed!

I have a server (i.e. Plex) for my family and friends, can I use your service by registering a single private account?
Sorry, no! We are sure that your family and friends have enough money to get their own IPTV and create their own account on our website.
Where is my profile?
You get there by clicking your name in the top right corner.
How many days of Program Guide can I see in my EPG?
We offer EPG for the next 7 days if we have enough data, otherwise it depends on the sources.
How often do you update your data?
We update the EPG data once a day around midnight based on the particular country's time zone (capital city).
The updating process may take up to 1-3 hours depending on the amount of the channels in the particular country.
Do you offer EPG for my country's TV channels?
Most probably yes. We add new countries and TV channels continuously as soon as they are available, and we update them frequently. Please see our channel list at the top of the page.
I have a channel list with 500+ channels from a dozen countries. Will I have EPG for all of them?
Yes, if you choose your subscription package accordingly.
In the free trial you can add only 50 channels to your EPG.
Do you list local versions of a channel from a country with multiple time zones, like the USA or Canada?
We always list the nation wide version of a channel.
We always list the feed from the Capital City's time zone if there are different local versions of the same channel.
In the case of the USA and Canada it's always the eastern feed if not indicated otherwise.
Where can I get IPTV?
Many countries offer legal IPTV services.
And then there are the others.
Google is your friend.
What is PayPal Login?
It's like Facebook Login, which you know from other sites, but maintained by PayPal.
Why didn't you use Facebook Login?
Facebook Login is just a toy and doesn't do anything for security. Rather the opposite.
PayPal is a Bank and like all Banks, it's very concerned about security.
Will you steal/hack/sell my PayPal account?
No! We do not have any interest in doing any of those things and we also couldn't, because we don't have access to your PayPal account without your password.
We also don't know who would buy your email address from us, so...
I am still concerned about my PayPal account. What can I do?
Switch on two way authentication in your PayPal account. You'll get a code to your mobile phone every time somebody tries to log in to your PayPal account and if the code is not entered into a specific field on PayPal, the person can't log in.

Do I have to pay for your service?
You can test it for free. After a 5 days trial period you have to create a paid subscription to continue using the service.
How can I pay?
You can pay by credit card or Bank Transfer or PayPal balance through PayPal.
But I have no PayPal account. What should I do?
You don't need a PayPal account to use and pay our service. You can pay by Credit Card through PayPal without having a PayPal account.
Will you store my Credit Card info? Can it be stolen from you?
No! We process Credit Card payments through PayPal. We don't see your Credit Card info and we don't store it!
Will you charge my credit card or PayPal account automatically?
No! When the trial period or your actual subscription ends, your link will be unavailable and it won't work until you initiate a payment yourself.
Can I get a refund?
I don't want to pay. Can I create my own EPG data?
You can create your own EPG data on your computer with free to use software.
If you don't mind messing around with EPG software, XML and configuration files, and you'd like to schedule your time daily to remember updating the data manually, which can last for hours, go ahead!
How do I start my Free Trial Period?
Choose your countries and channels and click the "Save" button at the top of the page. You get an XML link on top of the page and you can start using EPG immediately.
Will my link change after the free trial, when I pay?
No! Your link is generated once and it will stay with you for ever.
Can I upgrade my subscription?
Yes, you can. Please go to your "My Account" page by clicking your name in the top right corner of the website and click "Billing & Subscription". When you click the "Upgrade Subscription" button, you can choose from the higher packages.
Please keep in mind that an upgrade doesn't extend your expiration date!

I added the link to my Media Center, but I don't see the EPG. Why?
Use our online m3u editor to add the right tvg-id="" tag to your channels.
I added the link to App X, but I don't see the EPG. What should I do?
If your account is not blocked and you can download your XML file in your browser, then the problem is in your App.
Please contact the App's developer.
Can I store my .m3u file on your site as well?
Yes, you can. Actually you should!
Can I edit my M3U on your site?
Yes, you can do it with our online M3U editor.
Can I upload and store multiple M3U files on your site?
Yes, you can. The number of M3U files you can upload and store is based on your subscription package.
Can I merge M3U files?
Yes, you can.
Is there a limit how many M3U files I can merge?
No, there is no limit.
Will my M3U file be synchronized with my IPTV Provider if any change happens?
Yes, it will be automatically synchronized with your IPTV Provider once a day, if you uploaded an M3U file by adding a link to your IPTV Provider's M3U file. You will get a message on your account and an email when a change happens.
You can also sync your M3U files manually, by clicking the "sync" button next to the M3U file in your list in the editor.
I merged different M3U files, moved channels, renamed groups etc., will my M3U files still be synchronized?
Yes, they will be synchronized.
I imported my m3u file into the editor, but there are no categories, why?
You need to use a link for the download or import of your m3u file with the options "type=m3u_plus&output=ts" instead of "type=m3u&output=ts".
Do you have Channel Icons too?
We don't have all the logos available yet, but we are adding channel logos (picons) to the channels continuously.
If you miss icons, please be patient.
I can receive foreign channels, but I can't find them among the channels of my country. Why?
We list TV channels in their origin country even if more countries speak the channel's language. For example Austrian channels are listed under Austria even if you can receive and understand them in Germany and Switzerland.
Channels which are available in multiple languages (like Discovery and History) will be listed in those particular countries separately.
If channels have different headquarters, like BBC UK and BBC America, we will list the particular channels in the country of the particular Headquarters.
Channel X is in the list, but I can't see any EPG data for it, why?
If you are sure that the tvg-id="" of the channel in your m3u file matches exactly the tvg-id of the channel on our site (under the channel's name) and you still don't have EPG, then either there is no data provided by that channel or something went wrong. If it lasts for a few days, please contact us and we will try to fix it.
There is a foreign language channel in the list of country X, why?
If you find a channel in your country list, which is not in the native language of your country or not a channel based in your country, please let us know.
We don't know all the channels in the world, so we made some mistake. Channels should be listed under the country, where they are located.
Where is the international version of Channel X?
As mentioned in the previous answer, the channel is in its origin country.
For example all "Deusche Welle" channels are listed in Germany, even if it's in Arabic.
Why don't you have Channel X in the list of Country Y?
If you are missing a channel in a country and the channel is based in that country, please let us know. We will do everything we can to get the EPG data for that channel too.
The EPG for Channel X disappeared, why?
We always tweak the system, so probably we changed the name or the tvg-id of the channel slightly. Check the Spelling on our site in the channel list and correct your .m3u file with the editor accordingly.
It's also possible that the channel or the EPG source was discontinued.
My EPG displays shows X hour(s) off, why?
It's probably because of the Daylight Saving Time.
Go to your profile on the website and choose one of the available Timezone Settings.
We advice to choose the option setting everything to UTC (Universal Time Coordinated)
I have channels from different time zones, how do I synchronize the EPG data with my time zone?
Your personalized EPG will always show the right program in your timetable if you have set your timezone on your device correctly.
If your Media Center still mixes things up, you can use the timezone options in your profile on our website.
If that still doesn't help, try the followings:
Upload your m3u file to our website (if you didn't do that yet) and use the Time Shift function for the particular channels in our online m3u editor.
Set the number of hours next to each channel by which you want the EPG data being shifted.
If you are in Germany for example (GMT+1) and you have channels from the United Kingdom (GMT), set the Timeshift value to 1 for the UK channels.
If you can't or don't want to use the editor, you have to add "tvg-shift=X" to the channel's info line in your M3U file, which you want to time shift. X is of course the + or - number of the hour by which you want the channel being shifted.
I have set the timeshift in the editor, but my app doesn't show any change, why?
GSE Smart IPTV and IPTV Extreme (and probably a few other Android apps) can't handle timeshift in m3u files.
Contact the developer of your app and tell him to fix it.
I edited my M3U file in the editor, but I don't see the changes on my Enigma2 box, why?
You have to delete all the EPG from your box and you have to import it again. An incremental refresh won't change anything.
What are the Enigma2 Service Number options in the settings?
If the plugin "ServiceApp" is installed on Enigma2, it allows you to change your media player. The default player is DVB 1 but can be changed to IPTV 4097 or Gstreamer 5001 or Exteplayer3 5002.
At the start of the service reference number every channel begins with 1:#:#:#:#:# if using dvb1, but if you change your player to one of the others, it changes to 4097:#:#:# and so on.
The other media players have some advantages over the default player and allow some control of playback, like buffer size and duration just like on a Mag box.
I edited my M3U file in the editor, but I don't see the changes in my Media APP, why?
Go to your account and click the SAVE button in the editor under your channel list to regenerate your XML file.
Please disable Local Caching and reload the data.
If you use KODI for example, you have to disable Local Caching in KODI General settings AND in Simple Client EPG settings.
Then you have to reload the data in KODI General settings and restart KODI.
Look for similar options in other apps!
How many channels can I choose?
In the free trial version you can choose 50 channels. After that it's based on the package you buy. See our Pricing page to see the actual packages.
Can I group the channels by categories like "sports", "entertainment" etc. in the XML file?
No! That's a task for your m3u file and/or media center.
The XML file you get from us is a plane XML file generated by international XMLTV standards. There is no grouping in such an xml file.
Use our online m3u editor for creating groups.
My channel groups don't show up on my TV/Media Center. Why?
Look for a setting like "Synchronize channel groups with backend" and set it to "ON".
I clicked the "save all groups" button and my channels' settings are messed up, why?
Save all groups will save all groups. Nothing else.
It saves name changes to the group or setting changes to the group.
Group settings are inherited by channels within the group.
If you have "no epg" channels in a "get epg" group and you click the "save all groups", all channels will be set to "get epg".
If you didn't change anything on the group name, nor do you want to set all your channels to the group's setting, do not use it!
Use the save button inside the group under the channel list if you want to save changes on your channels.
I am an IPTV Provider / I have a Hotel. Can I subscribe?
Yes! Please choose the right account type when you register. If you have a Hotel, please contact us!
I am an IPTV Provider / I have a Hotel. Can I use my link on my server?
Yes, if you subscribed to one of our business packages!
Can I use your service through VPN/Proxy?
Will I have the Channel Limit even if I have a Business account?
No. With those accounts you can choose all countries and all channels after you paid a subscription.
Please switch on the "gzip file instead of flat xml" option in your profile!
Where do I see the prices for Business Account?
Please create a Business Account and start your free trial, then click the "Pay Subscription" button.
I don't have the EPG option on my Xtream Codes Panel. Can I use your service?
If you can't add EPG source directly to your streaming panel, please watch this video and contact us.
I use "Single Lines" to distribute EPG to my customers, how can I buy even more User Links?
You can buy credits in your User Links panel. One link costs one credit. Click the green "Buy Credits" button.
After you bought credits, the blue "Add Link" button becomes active.
I added your link to Xtream Codes Panel, but nothing happens, why?

With how many devices can I use the service?
We don't limit the devices, but we limit IP addresses based on your subscription package.
My account was blocked. Why?
Our system detected something strange. You received an email about it and a red banner at the top of your account will tell you the reason too. Please contact us!
Why do I get a 404 error, when I try to load my XML file in a browser/on my server?
You probably tried to call the link from more IP addresses than allowed by your subscription in a certain time period, and your actual IP isn't served anymore.
If you have a business account, you probably gave away your link to your users, which is the absolutely wrong way to dispense EPG to your users and your server's IP address isn't in the 3 allowed IP addresses. Please watch this video: How to add EPG to Xtream Codes Panel
Can I add my server's IP address to the site, so it won't get blocked?
Yes, go to your profile and add the server's IP address to your whitelist under "IP Addresses".
My EPG doesn't work, what should I do?
If you did all the things mentioned above in the other QAs (most importantly watching the tutorial videos!) and you still have problems, please check the Channel List at the top of the page if your channels have data (number of shows next to the channel name).
Visit your account and see if everything is right with your M3U file. Try to download it and open it with a text editor to see if it's populated.
Check the TVG-IDs and just to be sure, click the SAVE button, so your XML is generated again.
Download your XML file in your Browser and open it with a text editor to check if it's populated.
Check if you didn't try to connect with too many IP addresses.
If nothing's wrong on your account and with your file, go to our Status Reports Forum and see if we have something to say about your problem.
Check if everything is right with your media software/app. Contact their support!
Check if your media software/app has internet connection and if it's able to call the link.
If non of the above helped, contact us by Email, explaining the problem in detail!
That means: naming your hardware, naming your software, listing countries and channel names, telling us what you did and what you expected to happen, what happened instead etc.
